The addition of FalconStor’s solutions will further strengthen their portfolio, empowering them with unparalleled backup, archival and cloud migration capabilities.
The new alliance will give enterprises a secure and seamless transition from tape to disc to cloud with the end goal to help customers drive more value from their data, solving the challenges they were experiences with eliminating physical tapes. Together with FalconStor, transACT can help tackle all obstacles that data modernisation brings – from data recovery, back-up and archival – to securely migrating data to the cloud.
transACT works with a range of customers, helping them with their journey to the cloud, Gavin Kilpatrick, head of sales at transACT Technology Solutions. A clear challenge for our clients is around tape backup; it is costly and almost impossible to keep the solvency of that data, leading to serious compliance issues. In partnership with Falconstor, a unique solution has been developed that can remove the requirement of tape altogether by migrating archive backups into the cloud.
It’s our mission to collaborate with industry-leading MSPs worldwide to help them deliver a complete and unrivalled end-to-end Back-up-as-a-Service (BaaS) offering, said Steve Ashurst, managing director of FalconStor EMEA.We are looking forward to helping transACT ramp up the speed of backups and restores for their customers. With productivity, efficiency, and data security gains, we expect to exceed customer expectations every time.
